How to join FANA: from application to plaque
The membership process is designed to be simple and transparent. From the first enquiry to the issue of the plaque: here is every step.
The membership process
Initial enquiry
Contact us by email or via the contact form. We will answer your questions and provide initial guidance.
Preliminary assessment
A FANA technician analyses the general characteristics of the venue (floor area, volume, materials) to assess the feasibility of certification, without an on-site visit.
Instrumental acoustic survey
For class A or A+ certification, an on-site technical measurement is required according to the ISO 3382 standard.
Outcome and certification
If the venue passes: certification is issued immediately. If not: a technical report is provided with adjustment recommendations and a quote. The work may be carried out by the venue’s own contractors or by those suggested by FANA.
Contract and badge activation
Signing of the membership agreement. Receipt of personalised plaque, certificate and digital badge. Listing in the FANA directory on the website.
Maintaining the badge
The FANA badge requires ongoing compliance with the certification requirements, and periodic checks may be requested.
