Types of data processed

Browsing this website may result in the processing of data relating to identified or identifiable individuals. A distinction is made between data arising from the user’s browsing activity and data voluntarily provided by the user for specific purposes.

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category includes: IP addresses or domain names of users’ computers, URI addresses of requested resources, the time of each request, the method and size of the file obtained in response, the server status code and parameters relating to the user’s operating system.

This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and to monitor its correct functioning. It is deleted immediately after processing and may be used to establish liability in the event of cybercrime against the site.

Data voluntarily provided by the user

Personal data provided through the fana.one website is collected and processed for the following purposes:

• For administrative purposes and to comply with legal obligations (accounting, tax or at the request of judicial authorities)
• Subject to specific consent, for the sending of newsletters, surveys and information about brands, products or services
• Subject to specific consent, for updates on the Controller’s activities, invitations to events and commercial communications
• In the event of a curriculum vitae being submitted, exclusively for recruitment purposes

The legal basis is the freely given consent of the data subject where expressly indicated; in other cases the legal basis is compliance with legal obligations.

Cookies

No personal data of users is collected through cookies. The site does not use cookies for the transmission of personal information, nor persistent cookies of any kind, nor user tracking systems. The use of session cookies — which are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed — is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers necessary to enable safe and efficient browsing of the site.

Location and methods of processing

Processing connected to web services takes place at the Controller’s premises and is handled only by authorised staff or by persons occasionally entrusted with maintenance tasks. No data derived from the web service is communicated or disseminated.

Processing is carried out in automated and/or manual form, using methods and tools designed to guarantee maximum security and confidentiality, in compliance with the provisions of the GDPR. Data will be retained for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Communication and disclosure of data

The data subject to processing will not be disseminated. It may be communicated, within the European Union, to entities belonging to the following categories:

• Providers of services for the management of the information system and telecommunications networks
• Firms or companies in the context of assistance and consultancy relationships
• Competent authorities for compliance with legal obligations or directions of public bodies, upon request

Entities belonging to these categories operate as Data Processors or as separate independent Controllers. The list of processors is available at the Controller’s premises. Any further communication will take place only with the explicit consent of the data subject.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject may at any time exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, including: revoking previously given consent, requesting the modification, integration, updating, confirmation or deletion of stored data, objecting to processing and requesting data portability.
